Varsha Akhouri is a highly accomplished Bharatanatyam artist with a profound dedication to preserving the integrity of the Kalakshetra style, as originally taught by Rukmini Devi. She completed her first-class post-diploma, a rigorous six-year course, at the esteemed Kalakshetra Foundation in Chennai.
Varsha is the founder of Shrishti School of Dance, an institution she started in 2007. Her commitment to upholding the purity of the Kalakshetra style remains unwavering. Her passion for dance dates back to her childhood, ultimately shaping her decision to make Bharatanatyam her full-time career.
Over the years, Varsha has graced the stage with her exceptional performances at numerous prestigious venues both in India and abroad.
